Amberlee Morgan, who graduated from Delhi District Secondary School last month, will be starting her post-secondary journey with a well-earned scholarship. Morgan is one of just five recipients of the Ontario Public School Board Association’s Public Property Assessment Network scholarship, worth $1,000. The scholarship is awarded annually to graduating Ontario students displaying strong character, leadership skills and potential, and who’ve demonstrated care and involvement in their communities.
Last year, Morgan was named Junior Citizen of the Year by the Delhi and District Chamber of Commerce, in recognition of her impressive volunteer efforts in the community. She’s balanced her studies with part-time jobs, and dedicated much of her time to volunteering with the Delhi United Church and Guiding Canada, as well as sharing her academic gifts as a math and science tutor.
Grand Erie and Delhi wish Amberlee every success as she embarks on her next chapter.
