CSS TURNING POINT SEPTEMBER INFORMATION

Cayuga Turning Point will continue to offer an alternative secondary program this September.We are located at 28 Cayuga St. Cayuga. (Top floor of library)

Congratulations to all 2017/2018 Turning Point Graduates!

REGISTRATION

• The Turning Point Program has limited enrollment.
• Prospective students must call for an interview.Interviews will take place the first two weeks in September. Turning Point phone number is (289)439-2606

• Returning students must contact the TP teacher to schedule an interview and re-register.
• Registration will be based on student commitment to success.
• New students may start as spots become available.

START-UP

• Classes will begin the week of SEPTEMBER 17^TH
• Classes will be every Wednesday and Thursday from 9:30 to 2:30pm.

CO-OPERATIVE EDUCATION

Students are encouraged to obtain their own Co-op placements, which may include paid employment.

• Co-op students must complete pre-placement requirements.
• Submission, of signed log sheets, is required weekly to complete credits.

STUDENT EXPECTATIONS

• Students will have the opportunity to achieve credits through independent study (ELearning), credit recovery, and co-op education.
• One assignment, each day, must be completed or the course may be in jeopardy. Therefore students must log in from home when they are not in class.
• All students must attend or contact teachers weekly to retain placement in the program.(289)439-2606
• Lack of student commitment and submission of work may lead to risking credit achievement, implementation of student contract and removal from the program.
