Dalton Grandin in Mrs. Dykstra's Grade 8 class is awarded Creeker of the Week. On Tuesday, March 26, Dalton was accepted into an aviation class with a guaranteed spot in the advanced aviation course! This is an incredible achievement...and it is also the first step to earning his pilot's licence! This course will take place this summer at the Trenton military base. Dalton will be staying on the base and living in the soldiers' barracks for the duration of the course!

The photo shown here was taken at the March 26th meeting of the Harvard Squadron. Dalton and his commander were on hand to receive a cheque from Ms. Donaldson. Our student council launched a fundraiser recently which earned $500 in profits! The student council decided to split the profits between the Youth Impact Centre and the local Cadet squadron. These funds were put toward the Cadet squadron, as well as Dalton's aviation course, so Thompson Creek has helped many Cadets to have new opportunities.

Congratulations to Dalton for his outstanding accomplishments! These achievements come after many months of hard work and efforts.
