Thompson Creek Elementary School’s Blue Planet Eco Club presents…

LIGHTS OUT LUNCH

With the increasing problem of climate change and the overall degradation of our environment, some members of Thompson Creek's community have come up with a way to help. For the week of April 15th to April 18th, classes are encouraged to turn off their lights during lunch and recess times. Suggested by the Blue Planet Eco Club, Lightless Lunches will help reduce our carbon footprint (the impact we have on our enviornment) and how much power we're wasting. We hope all classes will participate, and even take it upon themselves to continue beyond April 18th!
