A joint effort last October brought about some exciting new additions to the school grounds here at Thompson Creek! As many students have noticed, there now are five trees planted in the back field! They were donated by Grand Erie Home Hardware, with the support of Trees Canada, and some help from Thompson Creek School itself. The trees were planted with the goal in mind to beautify school surroundings - improving morale, supplying more shaded area, and potentially even outdoor teaching spaces! The hope is to continue enriching school spaces with the trees, and spread the fresh air! Remember to stay off the trees, to prevent harming them or breaking them before they can grow!
