Pre - Registration

Aug 30th 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm

For any students returning in September, we encourage you to take care of pre-registration paperwork before the end of August by stopping by the main office between 8am and 2pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from July 31st through August 25th. If you are unable to make it in through the summer, we will also hold registration on Wednesday, August 30th from 2:30-6:00pm in the VHSS library. Please note that students under 18 are required to bring parents in with them as signatures are required on some documentation. Students will receive their timetable when all registration forms are completed.

A few other important items…

VHSS uses a payment system called School Cash On-line. If you haven’t already registered, please see the instructions below. You may wish to purchase the Student Activity Fee and Athletic Fee after August 15 – details of what these fees cover will be included in your pre-registration paperwork.

  • Visit www.granderie.ca, click the “Parent Info” button, and then choose “School Cash Online”
  • Select “Register” and follow the steps to register
  • Select the “click here” option on your confirmation email, sign in and add each of your children to your household account.

Moving over the summer? Let transportation know so that your new address is ready to receive services for September! Transportation staff are working over the summer months and are happy to process any changes at that time. The form is available at https://stsbhn.ca/application/files/5816/7396/4416/TF001.pdf and requests can be sent directly to transportation@stsbhn.ca

Looking to accessing transportation details for September? Access to the transportation portal, available at https://transinfobhn.ca/Login, will be opened to the public on August 15th, 2023. If services on the portal are not accurate or if you have questions, please contact transportation directly to discuss. Transportation can be reached by emailing transportation@stsbhn.ca or by calling 519-751-7532. Updates received before August 30, 2023 will be in effect for the first day of school.

Students wishing to make timetable changes may complete a timetable change request form, with necessary parent/guardian signatures, and submit it to the main office at the time of pre-registration. Please be aware that email and voicemail change requests will not be considered. If your timetable change is possible, you will receive a new timetable on the first day of school reflecting the change. Some student schedules, due to various reasons, may require adjustments that weren’t possible in June. Mrs. Breedyk will be making every effort to work through these issues prior to the start of the school year and will reach out to the students if necessary.

A reminder that all students must earn a minimum of 40 Community Service Hours as part of the graduation requirements. More information about what activities are eligible and the required form to document earned hours are available on our website (www.granderie.ca/schools/vhss) under “Student Services” and “Graduation”

We are looking very forward to seeing you in September and will keep in touch through our School Messenger system and our social media accounts. If you are moving or any contact information has changed, please let us know by leaving a message at (519) 586-3522 or email our staff at s-vhs@granderie.ca so that we can make the necessary updates in our system. Our summer office hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday from 8am to 2pm so if you call outside of these times, please leave a detailed message and we will return your call as soon as we are back in.
