Today, we’re excited to introduce Mr. Pawliwec (otherwise known as Mr. P!) to the Walter Gretzky community. In September, Mr. P is excited to be teaching Grade 3.

I was a Learning Resource Teacher at Bellview Public School.

circle-question-solid-red.png  What excites you most about teaching at Walter Gretzky?

I am most excited to meet the students, staff, and families of the Walter Gretzky School Community.

circle-question-solid-red.png  What's your favourite part of teaching?

My favourite part of teaching is working with students and being able to see their learning first-hand. I also enjoy the fact that no two days are the same, and the challenges that come with navigating the ever-changing learning environment.

I am motivated by new challenges. Not knowing something motivates me to learn about it, which, in turn, allows me to continue grow as an educator.

For this, I will share a quote from artist/illustrator, Ralph Steadman: "There's no such thing as a mistake, really. It's just an opportunity to do something else."

In my spare time, which, as a new parent, is not much, I enjoy painting and illustrating scenes and characters that I create in my mind.
