On Thursday, November 30, the Grade 8s in both Mr. Knuckle and Mr. Joynt's class traveled to Friendship House to help the organization in its quest to help others. Groups of children spent the day wrapping gifts, organizing donated clothing, baking holiday treats for families and preparing bags of food and toiletries for some of Brantford's less fortunate families. The children really enjoyed being able to help out others and found it a valuable experience. On December 14th, the Grade 7s will take their turn helping out others as they too will head to Friendship House for a day of giving.
