It has recently come to our attention that a couple of urgent messages to families of our district did not reach your homes. We would like to first of all reiterate and acknowledge the grief felt by Indigenous Communities across Turtle Island with the most recent tragedy uncovered in Kamloops BC.
Schools across the Grand Erie District School Board will be conducting a survey to assess the school climate for students throughout the month of June. Students in Grades 4-12 will be asked by their schools to participate in this electronic and voluntary survey.

The COVID-19 School and Child Care Screening Tool, and the COVID-19 Screening Tool for Employees and Essential Visitors in Schools and Child Care Settings, have been updated to reflect public health guidance for individuals experiencing symptoms post COVID-19 immunization.

Anne Goodrow, Grade 7 teacher at Lansdowne-Costain Public School, is one of the most recent in a group of only 53 teachers across the country to be awarded the honour of being an Impact Influencer by Knowledgehook for outstanding data-driven instruction in mathematics this year.

The Grand Erie District School Board is pleased to share news that the Brant County Health Unit, based on the Ministry of Health guidelines, will accelerate the rollout for the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine for individuals, including Grand Erie staff, who received their first dose on or before April 18, beginning today (June 7, 2021).
