School Council
The purpose of School Councils is: “through the active participation of parents, to improve pupil achievement and to enhance the accountability of the education system to parents.” Elgin's School Council focuses on supporting the Grand Erie District School Board's Multi-Year Plan at Elgin.
Elections
Candidate forms are available in September. Elections, if necessary, will be held annually in September.
* All meetings are an hour and begin at 6:00 pm at the school. All parents of Elgin students are welcome.
Dates for meetings for the 18-19 school year are:

- February 19, 2019
