Principal's Message
Welcome to the Brier Park Public School website. We are pleased to have our website which we hope will become a source of information to our parents. Please feel free to e-mail any feedback and suggestions to help us improve our communication.
At Brier Park, students and staff work together with the school community to build students' academic skills, their social skills and their self-knowledge. Our motto is, "A Community Where Everyone can learn, is safe and is respected. We believe, "It takes a community to make our school the best place to be."
Staff and students are looking forward to a great school year, 2017-2018. Together, we can make it happen!
Student Handbook
Brier Park School provides opportunities and encouragement for all children to reach their potential - academically, socially, physically and emotionally.
We believe that all students are responsible for their behaviour and capable of making appropriate choices. Our goal is to foster a sense of self-esteem and self-discipline in our students.
It is the responsibility of teachers and parents to encourage and reinforce appropriate behaviour and good decision-making.
The safety of others and their right to learn at school are prime considerations.

- 8:30 a.m. staff on yard duty
- 8:40 a.m. school day begins
- 10:20 a.m. nutrition break (40 mins)
- 11 a.m. classes resume
- 12:40 p.m. nutrition break (40 mins)
- 1:20 p.m. classes resume
