It is a pleasure to welcome each student and family to Courtland Public School. By working together; parents, students and staff can ensure the best possible educational opportunities for our children.
We offer instruction in the primary (Grades JK to 3), junior (Grades 4 to 6) and intermediate (Grades 7 & 8) divisions. We hope that your association with our school is a rewarding and enriching experience both for you and your child. Our school exists for one purpose: to enable our students to become knowledgeable, self-motivated, contributing members of our society. The staff of your school is dedicated to provide a safe, challenging and inclusive learning environment, while at the same time providing a a variety of extracurricular activities for students to enjoy. We cannot accomplish this task without your help; we welcome your interest and input.
Our school has an amazing and supportive group of parents, who provide many extras for our students through their volunteer and fundraising efforts. Our parents’ council , COPE Council, welcome parents to participate in any way which suits each family’s schedule and availability. Parents and students also lead our daily nutrition program. Healthy food is provided to our school community each day as classes begin. In addition, we have many community partners who enrich life at our school. We are proud of our tradition of cooperation and support with the local community.
We look forward to working with all our students and their families to provide programs which inspire personal success for every student.

At Courtland Public School we believe that our students come first in all of our decision making.
Our Daily Challenge for all members of our school community is to create and maintain a learning and working environment which:
