Accessing the School Protocol

Hi everyone, as you know we will be allowing students into PDHS next week to collect their belongings from their lockers. We take the safety of our students and staff very seriously and as such we are requiring you to follow the following protocol when accessing PDHS. Also, as a reminder, students are asked to bring all borrowed school items with them when they come to collect their belongings.

Prior to coming into the school, students must complete the online self-assessment (https://covid-19.ontario.ca/self-assessment/).

Students will be allowed in the school for a maximum of 10 minutes. It is strongly recommended that students wear a mask or face covering during their visit to the school. Once students collect their belongings, they are to perform hand hygiene and leave the building immediately.

All people waiting to enter the building as well, as in the building, will maintain a physical distance of 2 meters at all times and follow hand hygiene and cough etiquette protocols.

Anyone accessing the building will:

o Wash/sanitize hands upon entry

o Wash/sanitize hands after handling items

o Wash/sanitize hands upon exiting building

o Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth

o Cover a cough and sneeze with a tissue or arm, not a hand

o Maintain physical distancing of 2 metres from others
