School Council

WALSH SCHOOL COUNCIL

WHO

The Walsh School Council must be composed mainly of parents. The principal, a staff member and a community member are also included. School Council meetings are open to all parents whether you wish to be a member or not.

WHAT

• School Council enhances communication between school and the parents.
• Promotes school safety.
• Supports healthy school initiatives.
• Improves student achievement.
• Develops partnerships with teachers and principals.

WHERE AND WHEN

The next meeting will be Wed. Nov 22 at 6 p.m Walsh Library. Child-minding is available (please contact the school if required). School Council must meet 4 times per year.

Your involvement in our community is welcomed and appreciated. Whether your student is in JK or Grade 8, please consider joining us in order to help us with our goal for success for every single student at Walsh Public School.
