Welcome back to school! On behalf of the Woodman-Cainsville Public School Parents' Council, we are pleased to welcome you to another exciting year of activities, events, and educational opportunities. All parents and student supporters are invited to be members of the School Council. We host a variety of school community engagement events and fundraisers throughout the year, which are wonderful opportunities to connect with other students, families, teachers, and staff. Our first meeting takes place Wednesday, September 16th at 6:30 p.m. in the staff room. We look forward to seeing you there!
Student Council
Hello parents/guardians! We would like to introduce our student council. Our student council consists of students from Mr. Salter’s class and Mr. Jarvis’s class. Two grade 8 students from Mr. Salter’s class, Kaitlynn and Lauryn, are our co-Prime Ministers of student council. The remaining members of Student Council are: Taylor, Cindy, Anna, Hope, Ryan, Ryley, Angela, Avery, Alexis, Ajay and Cole. Student council organizes some of the fantastic events that are held in our school that our students love to participate in. We love to plan events such as:
We encourage students to participate in our school activities with our point system. Each class receives points based on how many students in that class participate. The winning class gets to take “Woody”, our school spirit bear, to their classrooms to keep until the next event occurs.
Stay tuned for our upcoming events!
If you would like to volunteer your time at Woodman-Cainsville Public School, Board policy requires that all volunteers require a current police check. There is a small fee charged for this form. A police check is good for two years. We value the contributions made by our volunteers and are always looking for more help! Please consider donating some of your time to our school.
Welcome to Friendship House of Brant. We are here to assist with the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our community, providing an assortment of programs for children, adults, and seniors.
Some of our services include: a food bank, cafe, exercise classes, seniors social group, breakfast and after school clubs.
We are always accepting donations: Clothing, non-perishable food items such as canned foods, pasta, etc., as well as personal care items such as deodorant, diapers, feminine hygiene products, dental care, shaving care items and so much more!
