As we approach March Break, and the two-year mark of COVID-19 being declared a global pandemic, we want to share our gratitude and pride in all of the work taking place in our classrooms, schools, departments and communities to support our students, and each other. Every day, educators and support staff work together to build a culture of well-being to foster the cognitive, social, emotional and physical needs of each learner. This has not been easy. But together, we’ve persevered, and together, we will continue to support each other so we can in turn lift up our students.
As we navigate what’s to come, one thing is certain: kindness and respect have got us this far, and kindness and respect will continue to move us forward in the right direction. We look forward to celebrating the many achievements and milestones still to come this school year.
Whatever next week holds for you, we hope it is a chance to rest, reflect and tend to your own well-being. We wish you all a safe, healthy and happy March Break.
Sincerely,
Susan Gibson,
Board Chair

Director of Education
