Mt. Pleasant School Council: Our Mission
As school council members we can discover new and exciting ways to contribute to the education of the students at Mt. Pleasant School. We are a dedicated team working together with Parents, students, teachers, principals, school boards, government, and the community. Our goal is to ensure the highest quality of education for our children. Everyone’s participation can make a difference.

Meeting Dates
Meetings occur in the grade 8 room on the second Tuesday of every month, from 6:30 – 8:00 PM. Child care is provided as well!
Our first meeting this year will be on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 with elections for the new school year.

Minutes March 7, 2017
- Decision was made to have a "Happy Birthday Canada" theme for our annual Fun Fair, coming up at the end of May.
- We hosted a guest presentation from the Brantford Sexual Assault Center and we learned about how sexual identify, sexual attraction, sexual expression and biological sex presents in a non-binary system. Very informative! This was the same presentation that our intermediate students participated in last month.
