This is Seneca Central’s motto which underpins all that we do and stand for at the school. We seek to make our school a place where everyone feels valued so that each individual can reach their full potential; we want our school to be a place where all can flourish, where people are treated with kindness and understanding. Through this, we become positive and constructive citizens.
Seneca Central is located in the rural community of York, Haldimand, Ontario. We have a student population of 166 comprised of 8 classes and all of our students are bused to and from school. We have a dynamic team of educators in our Kindergarten to Grade 8 classes.
The students at our school are happy, polite and care about their learning. We have seen many improvements over the years – academically and socially – because of a highly dedicated staff who work hard to give each child the opportunity to succeed – academically, athletically, artistically, socially – and a supportive parent community who also works hard to support their children.

Breakfast Program
Through Canadian Nutrition Network funding and community donations, Seneca provides a snack/breakfast program for students 5 days a week. Students are provided with choices from grains/cereals, fruit/vegetables and dairy and menus are posted here monthly. Donations can be made through lunch orders on our cashless system, School Cash Online.
