Competing with more than 2,000 students from schools across southern Ontario, McKinnon Park took home awards in the following categories:

  • Financial Services - Blake Chapman and Brady Murphy
  • Sports and Entertainment Marketing - Amelia Morrison and Nicole Vanbesien
  • Hospitality Services - Isaac Dias and Judy Gao

“I am so proud of the hard work and courage shown by each DECA participant at the regional event,” shared Renee Reilly, Business Studies and eLearning teacher at McKinnon Park Secondary School, who acted as the team’s teacher-advisor, incorporating relevant information into her classroom instruction. “We’re really looking forward to representing McKinnon Park at provincials in February.”
