Effective October 14, 2021, Grand Erie District School Board is pleased to offer an online credit card payment option for school-related activities and purchases.
Grand Erie is working with its current third-party payments vendor to ensure credit card payments are secure, safe, and convenient for parents. Parents will also continue to be able to make secure transactions through the Grand Erie Mobile App.
Due to increased adoption of alternative payment methods offered at other school districts, Grand Erie’s current third-party payments vendor will also be retiring the myWallet service.
As of June 7, 2021, SchoolCash Online no longer supports adding funds into MyWallet. Parents currently using MyWallet will have until October 31, 2021 to use the remaining balances in their MyWallet account. After November 1, 2021, all parents that still have remaining balances in their account will be refunded. All refunding activities are expected to be completed before December 10, 2021. Parents will receive a notification when processing payments through their MyWallet account that communicates its retirement and the options available to them.
Grand Erie is working diligently to ensure the transition is as seamless as possible and the board is pleased to be able to offer another convenient and secure payment option for parents at our schools.
